Baby Shower

At the beginning of August I helped put on a baby shower for Jenny, a gal I visit teach in my ward. My friend let us use her house and I think it turned out well.. Jenny welcomed her little boy this past Thursday so it was good timing. Here are the pictures so you can see just about every last detail.

We had a lot of fun while Brad's Sisters Julie and Lisa made the big trip out to AZ in July. Here are a few pictures from when they were here.

The Fourth of July

Every year the weekend before the fourth the city of phoenix puts on a great little fireworks show at a park really close to our house. So this year we joined up with some of our friends to watch.

Makenna enjoyed the show for about 30 secs and then decided she did not like the fireworks. She then proceeded to suck her thumb with her head buried in my shoulder for the rest of the show.

On the fourth of July the weather actually cooled down and we had a comfortable dinner outside. Here is Makenna's July 4th photo shoot.

Trip to Taylor

In July the whole Shumway crew made a trip up to Taylor AZ. We had a lot of fun and Makenna did really well on the trip.
