1st Anniversary and Christmas

Right after finals ended we took a trip to Sedona. Uncle Allen has a time share there and let us use it. So we celebrated our first anniversary!  As usual, we were both sick at the end of the semester. It always seems to happen, right when you have a moment to relax, it hits. We still enjoyed ourselves and the beautiful scenery.

The Chapel with really good acoustics

Our first Christmas.
On General conference weekend I was driving home from the grocery store and saw a yard sale. They sold me this christmas tree for $3.00! What a great find :)

Fall 2007

Hailey and Whitney and our Buildings Trunk or Treat.
A Visit to the Zoo around Thanksgiving time.
The Amazing CVS Deal.
Brad and I got $200 in CVS Extra Bucks for buying the Glucose Monitors( Free with Coupons) So $200, free. This was the first round of items that I bought with the money. Of course I bought items that would give me even more extra bucks back so I just kept rolling the store credit money.

Our First Apartment

Here we are moving out of our first apartment on Broadway. Haven Luxury apartments they were called. Brad would call them anything but that though.  We lived there for about 8 months and were excited to move to the thomas apartments. My bike and tennis shoes ( had stepped in Dog poop) were stolen from our second floor front porch.

Even though it wasn't our favorite place to live it was still special because it was our first place.

Mt humphrey's

One of the highlights of the summer was hiking Mt Humphy's. The Highest Peak in AZ at 12,637 feet. We Camped in Flagstaff to help us get used to the elevation a little. It was a fun hike but tough. As we were going up we encountered some pretty fisty squirrels. One came right up to the edge of a tree branch and jumped off at us and ran through our legs.It scared me.
As we reached the saddle it appears that you are almost there, but no, its very deceiving. It is peak after peak until you reach the top.
At the top. We were lucky that we didn't have too much wind or monsoon weather. It was a great day to hike it.
