Visit from Good Friends

It was so fun to get together with Ashlei and Claren. They are such good girls and its crazy to catch up on our "Grown up" lives. We have a fun time reminiscing about all our childhood adventures! 

Kenna Girl

Makenna has been enjoying some girlie things lately. She likes playing with purses and her "Credit Cards" and taking care of her babies. She has also been enjoying playing with her new little kitchen and food.

Tired little lady

 Putting on makeup. I gave her a little bottle of baby lotion and she spent forever pouring out tiny bits and rubbing it on her face.

 Makenna likes wearing necklaces, but for a while her favorite accessory were these goggles. Never on her eyes though, she prefers around the neck or on top of her head.

She has started playing little tunes on the piano and not just banging the keys. Makenna also started singing her first real song. While we were out grocery shopping the other day she starting singing.. it took me a sec to figure it out. " Dream... Wish .... Makes..... Fast..... Sleep"  A dream is a wish your heart makes, from Cinderella.

40th Wedding Anniversary!

We all went out to dinner to celebrate my Mom and Dad's 40th Wedding Anniversary! I'm so grateful to have these wonderful parents. They are as good as they come!

Little Man

Earlier in the month a few ladies in the ward helped put on a baby shower for me and two other girls in the ward who are having their second child (all having boys). Thank you Tonya and Morgan! It was so sweet of them and the "Little Man" theme was very cute too! It was so sweet of them and sure helped me to start getting ready for my own little man on the way.

Utah Trip

We were able to go visit Spencer and his family this year for the fourth of July. Erin and her girls came too, and it was good to just get away for a few days.

 That night we were able to go visit our good friends Kailey and Chase. They are in our ward, but chase is doing a law school internship up there for the summer. We really miss them and it was fun to swim with them and see their baby Lucas.

 On the Fourth of July we all hiked Ensign Peak. This is where the "This is the place" monument is looking over the Salt Lake Valley.

She likes to get out all the stuff to change her diaper, not really when she needs it, just to play with.
That night Spencer set off fireworks in their cul de sac. It was awesome, we had a 360 view of aerial fireworks, because tons of people were setting them off right in their neighborhood. 

Because Makenna struggled on the long drive up. We left at 3 in the morning to come home so she could sleep for a good portion of the drive. So worth it!
