39 Weeks

One last look at the pregnant belly. This is the day before our little girl was born.

I was lucky to have two wonderful baby showers. It was a downpour of adorable baby clothes and all kinds of cute baby stuff. I feel really blessed to have such great friends and family who came and helped put them on.

Baby Belly

30 Weeks

Here is a picture taken a little over a week ago of my pregnant belly. Now that it's easier to tell that I'm pregnant I've had a lot more people taking it upon themselves to rub my belly. I was warned that this would happen and at least no strangers have done it, but its still awkward.  I should just start rubbing their belly back, that would probably make them get the point that its weird.

Painting

We have been working hard to get our whole house painted. I found with each painting project, I would get very optimistic on what we could finish in one day, but it would always take longer than we thought it would. Tonight we finished painting all the rooms!!

We even had some of the Young Women in our ward come and "help" paint one evening. I know it sounds crazy, but we covered everything very well with plastic and not a drop of paint got on the carpet. Though it might look like they got more paint on themselves than the walls, they did a pretty good job and had a fun time.

A Benihana Birthday

The 23rd of June was my Birthday. That day we went over to my parent's house to swim and my sweet nieces showered me with all kinds of "treasures" and a homemade cake. The next week we went to the Japanese Restaurant, Benihana, where they cook up all the food on a large skillet that is right on the table. We had a great chef and enjoyed watching him "play" with the food as he cooked it.
